Product Description
We ar engaged in offering the most preferred range of Minerial Turpentine Oil (MTO) This high grade MTO offered by us is a special boiling point spirit. The superior quality liquid is also known by different names such as spirit, White spirit and Turpentine. Our fluid consists of volatile fraction derived from petroleum and is composed essentially of paraffinic, naphthenic and aromatic hydrocarbons in varying proportions. This oil is clear and is water-white in color. This product is mostly used to dissolve say resins, rubber, and bitumen and also to reduce the viscosity of the solutions produced.
The major uses MTO are:
- In the manufacture of surface coatings like paints, varnishes, lacquer
- In dry cleaning
- In textile printing with pigment colors
- Solvent for wax, rubber and resins in the manufacture of electrical insulating compounds
- Solvent in the preparation of bituminous paints, scouring agent for raw wool
- Thinner for oil-cloth manufacture
- Solvent for metal and machine degreasing
- Thinner for oil soluble rust preventive
- Solvent for insecticidal formulation
- Thinner for lithographic varnishes
